1. Templates and drafts
Quotes, scopes, exclusions, invoices, payment terms, chase communications, variations, layouts and explainers are editable drafts. AI can misunderstand instructions, omit facts, create inconsistent totals or suggest wording that is not enforceable.
2. Required review
Check identity, client details, deliverables, exclusions, pricing, tax treatment, tax numbers, invoice numbering, statutory fields, dates, deposit and milestone percentages, interest language, approval process and governing terms. Consult a qualified lawyer, accountant or tax adviser when appropriate.
3. No client money services
Quotely never receives, holds or transfers money between you and your client. Use your own channel so money is paid directly to you. Our payment provider charges only your Quotely subscription. We do not provide credit, factoring, collection or debt-recovery services.
4. Chase communications
Reminder and overdue messages are communication templates, not legal notices or recovery documents. Use them proportionately and lawfully. Do not harass, threaten or make false statements about enforcement.
5. No guaranteed result
We do not guarantee acceptance of a quote, payment of an invoice, tax compliance, enforceability, accuracy or any business outcome. You remain responsible for the document you send and the relationship with your client.
